Our mindset dictates the way we think and therefore the running account that takes place in our head. It governs not only the way we think but also the way we act and behave and how we make our decisions. If we get into an internal monologue that is just focused on self-judgement and criticism, we have unconsciously created a fixed mindset which can be negative and self-defeating. Fixed mindset places obstacles and prevent us from achieving our goals and retarding our personal growth.
On the other hand, people with growth mindset are positive and constantly self-encouraging and positive in their outlook in life. Their internal monologues are positive talks that focus on learning and constructive actions and forward looking. This workshop will help you learn how to recognise your mindset and those of others and the key strategies to change them. The objective is to equip you with the strategies to transform your mindset to be more effective at work and to learn how to enjoy doing your job.

The approach to delivering the workshop is hands-on and skill-based throughout. The learning environment is highly interactive between the workshop leader and participants, and among the participants themselves. Peer learning from sharing experiences will be strongly encouraged. Learning methods include facilitator’s short input, group exercises and feedback, self-assessments, brainstorming, role plays and case studies related to real life applications.
